How To Throw A Birthday Party For Your Child When You Live In A Small Apartment

Living in a small apartment can pose a challenge if you happen to be charged with throwing a birthday party for your child and they have a lot of friends. A small apartment is simply not the right atmosphere to have a whole bunch of kids running around in, especially after they've eaten a sugar-filled cake and drank soda. So, you are going to have to find some alternatives. The choices below offer a good mix of free options that you can look to, as well as some ones that you will have to pay for, but which will give you more structure.

Go To The Park

If you are tight on money and don't mind asking other parents to come along and chaperon, then a really cool idea is to throw the party in the park. You can go to a local park and set up a picnic-style birthday party. Your kids will get to run around in the park, and use whatever fun things the park might have (pool, climbing bars, basketball courts, etc...).

The main thing you will want to do is make sure the other parents know beforehand that they should hang around to help watch everyone. It is also a good idea to pick a park that has picnic areas such as tables and even BBQ grills.

Bowling Fun

If you prefer to go indoors, and but you still like the idea of fun and an active party, then look towards a local bowling alley. Make sure to pick one that will cater to kids birthday parties. These will often include things such as bumpers, which help the kids who are not expert bowlers have fun as they won't end up throwing gutter balls. Some bowling alleys will even have lots of fun music and lights that make everything exciting.

Restaurant With A Kids Private Birthday Party Room

If you want somewhere to have a nice birthday lunch, then you should look to a restaurant that advertises a separate room that can be rented out as a kid's birthday party place. Many restaurants have these closed off areas for private gatherings. You can throw your kids birthday party there, and you won't have to be worried about them making lots of noise and disturbing the other customers. In fact, you could even bring in entertainment such as a clown or a magician and have them entertain the kids without making a big spectacle in front of other diners.
